How much does an access control system cost?+
Most commercial installs run $1,800–$3,800 per door including reader, controller, electric strike or maglock, and platform setup. Software is typically $2–$8/door/month for cloud management. Existing buildings with legacy wiring may need additional infrastructure — quoted after site survey.
Can you replace our existing card system?+
Yes. We do takeovers of Software House CCURE, Honeywell ProWatch, Lenel, and AMAG. Most existing readers and door hardware can be reused with controller swaps; legacy proprietary cards usually need re-issue or dual-credential cutover during transition.
Do you handle visitor management for our lobby?+
Yes — we integrate Envoy, Sine, or HID Origo Visitor with your access platform. Pre-registered visitors get a QR pass that grants temporary credential to specific zones; lobby kiosks print badges and notify the host automatically.
Will it work with our existing IT infrastructure?+
Cloud platforms only need outbound HTTPS — no inbound port-forwards, no VPN. We work with your IT team on PoE switch capacity, VLAN configuration, and certificate trust. Most installs touch IT lightly and operate independently after.
