One Assigned Walker

Every walker is certified in pet first aid and CPR and carries a slip lead, a leash backup, and our vet-emergency protocol. We have your vet on file and written authorization to seek care if something goes wrong while you are out of reach.

How much does dog walking cost?+
A thirty minute solo walk is $28 and a sixty minute walk is $42, with a discount for five walks a week booked as a standing schedule. Puppy visits at twenty minutes are $24. Vacation drop-ins are $30 per visit, and overnights are $110 a night. A second dog in the same household is $8 per visit. Holidays carry a surcharge and are listed on the schedule when you book.
Who will actually be walking my dog?+
One assigned walker, plus one named backup who also attends the meet and greet so your dog has met them before they ever need to come. We do not dispatch whoever is nearest. If your regular walker is sick or on vacation, you get a message telling you the backup is covering that day, not a surprise at the door.
How do you get into my home?+
Whatever you are comfortable with: a coded key we keep in a locked box at our office, a lockbox at your door, a smart lock code, or a garage code. Keys are never tagged with an address. Everything is signed in and out, and if service ends we return the key in person or destroy the code and confirm in writing.
What if my dog is reactive or nervous with strangers?+
Tell us at the meet and greet and we plan around it. Many of our clients are rescues who need a slow introduction, sometimes two or three visits with you home before we walk them alone. We keep those dogs on solo walks, choose quieter routes and off-peak times, and match them with a walker who is experienced with reactive dogs.
What happens in bad weather?+
We walk in rain, cold, and heat, but we adjust. In summer we test the pavement with a hand before a long stretch and shift to grass and shade. In ice and heavy storms the walk becomes a shorter potty break with indoor play, and you get a note explaining what we did. If the city shuts down entirely we contact you rather than skip a dog silently.
