The Reality
If you have rented a container before, you know the drill.
These are the situations we help Springfield customers solve every week.
- →The last company left ruts across your driveway and shrugged about it
- →Your crew filled the box on Tuesday and nobody came to swap it until Friday
- →The invoice had fees on it that nobody mentioned when you booked
- →You have no idea what size you need and the salesperson upsold you to the biggest one
- →Half your load was mattresses and tires and now there is a surcharge you did not expect
Our Services
What we drop.
Service · 01
Residential Cleanouts
Ten and fifteen yard containers sized for garage, basement, and estate cleanouts. They fit in a standard driveway without blocking the whole thing, and we set boards under the rails before the box touches concrete.
Service · 02
Roofing Tear-Offs
Shingle-rated containers positioned close to the drip line so the crew is not walking loads across the yard. Roofing debris is heavy, so we match the size to the square count rather than the volume.
Service · 03
Remodel and Renovation
Twenty and thirty yard boxes for kitchen and bath demolition, flooring, drywall, and cabinetry. Swap-outs scheduled around your trades so demo day is not waiting on a truck.
Service · 04
Construction and Job Sites
Thirty and forty yard containers on scheduled swaps for builders and remodelers, with standing accounts, consolidated invoicing, and a dispatcher who knows your sites by name.
Service · 05
Concrete, Dirt, and Heavy Debris
Dedicated low-side containers for clean concrete, brick, and dirt, which are billed differently because weight, not volume, is what fills them. Keeping them clean of trash keeps the disposal straightforward.
Service · 06
Swap-Outs and Extensions
Full box swapped, or your rental extended by the day if the project slipped. Call before noon and a swap usually happens the same day, so the crew is never standing around a full container.
The Difference
Why Springfield contractors call Blue Yard.
We Protect the Driveway
Boards go down under the rails on every residential drop, every time, without being asked. It takes the driver three minutes and it is the single most common complaint about the industry.
Straight Pricing
One quoted price covers delivery, a seven day rental, pickup, and a stated tonnage allowance. Overage per ton and specific banned items are told to you at booking, not discovered on the invoice.
Swaps That Actually Happen
Our trucks are local and our containers are ours. When a crew calls at ten because the box is full, we are not waiting on a subcontracted hauler two counties away.
We Help You Size It
Tell us the project and we will tell you the size, including when a smaller box is the right answer. Talking someone into forty yards for a garage cleanout is an easy sale and a bad way to keep a customer.
Common Questions
You probably want to know.
What does a dumpster rental cost?+
A ten yard container is $325 and a twenty yard is $425 in the Springfield area, each including delivery, a seven day rental, pickup, and two tons of disposal. Thirty and forty yard boxes are quoted by project. Overweight loads are billed at $65 a ton over the allowance, extra days are $12 each, and heavy debris like concrete uses a different container and a different price.
What size do I need?+
A ten yard box suits a garage or single room cleanout and small roof tear-offs. Fifteen and twenty yard boxes cover most whole-house cleanouts, larger roofs, and single-room remodels. Thirty and forty yard boxes are for construction, additions, and commercial work. Tell us what the project is and roughly how much material there is, and we will size it, including saying when a smaller one will do.
Where can you place it and what do you need?+
A driveway, a yard with firm ground, or a job site with room for a truck to back in and lift. We need about sixty feet of straight clearance and twenty-three feet of overhead height, so watch for low branches and power lines. Street placement usually requires a city permit that has to be pulled before delivery, and we will tell you when your address needs one.
What cannot go in the dumpster?+
Paint, chemicals, oil, batteries, tires, appliances containing refrigerant, and anything hazardous have to be handled separately, and mattresses and electronics carry a separate disposal fee at most facilities. We list all of it at booking. Loading a prohibited item usually means the load gets rejected at the gate, which costs everyone a day, so ask before you toss something questionable.
How long can I keep it?+
Seven days is standard and covers most projects. If your timeline slips, call before the pickup date and we will extend it by the day. If you finish early, call and we will pick it up sooner at no penalty, since an empty box sitting in your driveway does neither of us any good. Job site accounts run on scheduled swaps instead of a fixed rental window.
Tell us the project and the date.
We will size the container, quote it in full, and give you a delivery window. Same-day drops when the truck is free.
