No. 03 — The Difference
Why people drive in from Westlake.
Real Farm Relationships
We buy direct from a dozen Hill Country farms — beef from Dai Due, eggs from Vital Farms, vegetables from Boggy Creek and Springdale Farm. The menu literally changes when the harvest changes.
A Menu You’ll Recognize Next Time
We rotate seasonally but keep core dishes — the wood-fired half chicken, the burrata, the Sunday short rib. Regulars don’t come back to find their favorite gone forever.
Service That Reads the Room
Date night gets paced and quiet. Birthday tables get treated. Big groups get a captain. You shouldn’t have to flag someone down twice for water.
Common questions, considered answers.
Do I need a reservation?+
Strongly recommended for Friday and Saturday dinner — we typically book out 2 weeks ahead. Tuesday through Thursday and brunch are easier to walk in. The bar is always first-come, first-served.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?+
Yes. Most dishes can be made gluten-free or vegetarian, and several are already vegan. Tell us at booking if anyone in your party has a serious allergy and our kitchen will plate accordingly. We don’t do separate menus — we just adapt.
Is the patio dog-friendly?+
Yes — well-behaved dogs are welcome on the patio anytime, including brunch. Water bowls and a dog menu (yes, really) are available on request. Indoor dining is service animals only.
How does private dining work?+
The Hearth Room books 30+ days out for parties of 12–28. Custom prix-fixe runs $75–$120/person plus beverage. Full restaurant buyouts available Sunday–Tuesday with a food and beverage minimum. Email events@ for the full packet.
Do you take walk-ins?+
Always at the bar — full menu, full wine list, no reservation required. Dining room walk-ins depend on the night; we keep a 2-top or two unbooked most evenings, so it’s worth stopping in.
