How much does a tow cost?+
Local light duty towing starts at a $95 hook fee plus $4.50 a mile inside Lucas County. Winching, off-road recovery, and medium duty are quoted by the situation before we dispatch. Roadside services like jump starts and lockouts are flat rated at $75 to $110 depending on distance. If your insurer or motor club covers the tow, tell dispatch and we will bill them directly where the program allows it.
How fast can you get to me?+
In the Toledo metro our typical arrival is thirty to forty-five minutes, and highway calls with a safety hazard get priority. Outlying areas and severe weather add time, and dispatch will tell you honestly rather than quote a number that makes you feel better for ten minutes. Will you tow my car to any shop I want?+
Yes. It is your vehicle and your choice of destination, including a shop, a dealership, your home, or our storage yard. If the shop is closed we can drop it in their lot with a key drop when they allow it, or store it overnight and deliver it when they open. Nobody at Northbank gets a kickback for steering you somewhere.
Do you handle accident scenes?+
We do, and we work with law enforcement on scene. We clear debris, winch the vehicle out safely, and transport it to the body shop or storage location you choose. If you are hurt or shaken and cannot make a decision at the scene, we will store the vehicle securely and give you time to sort out the insurance side before anything else happens.
Can you tow a car parked illegally on my property?+
Yes, under contract with the property owner or manager and in line with Ohio requirements for posted signage and notice. We photograph the vehicle, the plate, and the signage before it moves, and we keep that record. We do not accept impound calls from someone who is not the property owner or their authorized agent, since that is how tow companies end up in court.
