What this checks, and why each one matters

A local business gets found in two steps. First a search engine has to be able to read your page and understand what you do and how to reach you. Then a customer standing in their kitchen has to be able to call you without hunting. This tool checks both, from your own page.

It looks for a secure connection, a real page title and search description, a phone number a customer can tap, a contact form that actually contains fields, business details written in a format search engines read directly, a page built for phones, and a page light enough to load on a weak signal.

Every finding shows its evidence. If we say there is no contact form, we tell you we looked for form fields and did not find any — not that a link somewhere said “Contact”. You can check our work, and you should.

What this cannot do from your page alone is tell you whether Google and ChatGPT name your business when a customer asks who to hire. That is a separate measurement, and it is the one most businesses have never had run.

Common questions

What is a local SEO audit?
It is a check of whether the basics that help nearby customers find you are actually in place — a working phone number, a way to get in touch, details a search engine can read, and a page that works on a phone. This tool checks those from your page itself and shows you what it found.
Do I need to give an email to see my score?
No. The score and every finding appear on screen. We ask for an email only if you want the full report, which includes the part this check cannot do from your page alone.
What does the full report add?
The question your website cannot answer by itself: when a customer asks Google or ChatGPT who to hire for what you do, does your business get named? We run those questions and send you the answer along with what to fix first.
Will this tell me how to rank first on Google?
No, and be careful with anyone who says they can. Google says local results are based mainly on relevance, distance and popularity, and that there is no way to pay for a better local ranking. What this tool does is find the things that are missing or broken, which is the part you control.
My site scored badly. Is it broken?
Not necessarily. This check reads the page the way a search engine does, so anything loaded by a script after the page opens may not be counted. Each finding shows the evidence behind it so you can check it yourself, and anything we could not measure is marked not checked rather than counted against you.
